So many people have told me that fans can’t be friends. I looked up the definition of a friend. The first definition says that a friend is somebody who has a close personal relationship of mutual affection and trust with another. The second says that a friend is someone who has a casual relationship with another, for example, a business acquaintance. Most of the relationships that I developed were considered casual, but a friendship at that. With that being said, I feel that my absence hasn’t exactly looked good on my part, or fair to you at all. I’m not known for taking constructive criticism well-- much less criticism from people I consider to be “friends.” I wanted to stay involved, but was expected to not be affected by the things people were saying to and about me. It’s taken me some time to accept the way things are in life, and I’ve learned to find ways to be happy.

Everyone saw me go through what, to me, felt like the heart break of the century. Not only was I embarrassed that it failed, but I also had too much pride to face it. On a possitive note, I got some kick @ss songs out of it!! ;)

Lately, I've been in an amaing place, and wanted to share it with you guys!
I have a meeting at Interscope next week. We should be setting a release date! (keep your fingers crossed!)
I’ve heard there were rumors about what my second record’s going to be called. As of now, it’s still undecided. I’m not sure how much say I’ll have in the matter, but you guys will have to help me decide. I’m so stoked that we’ll actually be promoting this one! I should see everyone in every state this time!! (Cross fingers again!) I’m not sure about international releases just yet. I’ll ask in the meeting!

On another note, we’re about to be redesigning kacibrown.com. Be sure to post any ideas you guys have!

Sorry it took so long! There was an attack on the server and some malicious scripts were uploaded, so the old gallery had to be disabled. I've restored it to a new URL, so from now on you can use www.kaci-brown.org/photos to access it.

Aaron Carter is no stranger to falling in love fast.

After an impromptu marriage proposal in September to Kari Ann Peniche, his girlfriend of just a few days (they called it off six days later), the House of Carters star has been swept off his feet again.

Carter, who turned 19 on Dec. 7, celebrated his birthday Friday night at Shag in Hollywood with his twin sister, Angel. And on his arm was 18-year-old Kaci Brown, a singer who opened for the Backstreet Boys during their 2005 summer tour.
